Proudly sponsored by Hutchinson Community College EMS Education,
Reno County EMS, and Kansas Region 3 EMS
TRAINING DATES
Day 1 – April 24, 2017, 8:00-5:00
Snap the Cap – The Role of Capnography in EMS
This course is an eye opening experience where participants learn the incredible benefits gained from
full ETCO2 monitoring and waveform assessment.
Stethoscopy
How much did you pay for your stethoscope? How much training and lab time did you get in proper
training? Bob Page presents a hands on (and ears on) session that includes a description of the
stethoscope and how to use it properly. The highlight of the lab is hearing real breath sounds through
your own stethoscope.
Day 2 – April 25, 2017, 8:00-5:00
Multi-Lead Medics
The course is designed to show acute care providers how to get extra information from a 12 or 15 lead ECG, allowing greater insight into the pathophysiology behind the patient with cardiac or other problems.
